# Intercom: invite a teammate

## Steps
1. Go to Settings → Workspace → Teammates (requires admin or workspace owner permissions).
2. Click + Add new (top right) → + Add new teammates.
3. Enter the email address(es) of the teammate(s) to invite, separated by commas, then click Continue and set permissions.
4. Configure Permissions and roles for the invite (grouped by feature; use Allow all / Restrict all, or expand each section).
5. Click Send invites. Teammates receive an email with a link to join the workspace; the invite link is also available (with a copy icon) under Settings → Workspace → Teammates → Invited.

## End state
The teammate appears in the Invited list until they accept; after acceptance they appear in the active Teammates list with the permissions set at invite time. A pending invite can be cancelled with Revoke on its row.
