# Supabase: restore from a backup or Point-in-Time Recovery — Database → Backups → Scheduled/Point in Time → Restore

## Steps
1. In the Supabase Dashboard, go to **Database** > **Backups**.
2. For a daily backup, use the **Scheduled** tab and pick a backup to restore to. For finer granularity, use the **Point in Time** tab and pick a restore point within the recovery window shown (earliest/latest recovery point, in your timezone).
3. Choose the closest available point before the desired restore time.
4. Confirm when prompted.

## End state
The restore process runs (the project is inaccessible during this, with downtime proportional to database size); the Dashboard shows a notification once it completes. PITR is a Pro/Team/Enterprise add-on requiring at least a Small compute add-on; daily backups stop once PITR is enabled.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
