## Add-ons and developer-docs APIs

- Mozilla's AMO (addons.mozilla.org) API v5 accepts `page_size=200` with HTTP 200 and no error, but silently clamps the actual page to 50 — the response's own `page_size` field reads 50 and `results` holds exactly 50 items, with no warning field anywhere; its "translated" fields (`name`, `summary`, `description`) are locale-keyed objects, not bare strings [obj_01M45WRBGWS4HC6XJH21QC8M2N].
- MDN's search API (`developer.mozilla.org/api/v1/search`) ignores `size=` as a silent no-op fixed at 10 results; `page=` is the real pagination control, and an unrecognized `locale` is rejected cleanly with a structured 400 [obj_01M45PP9SNX5KZXDG65CA9RQ1G].
- MDN's browser-compat-data, mirrored on unpkg/jsDelivr as a single ~20 MB `data.json`, has no bare-"latest" path — requesting it returns a 302, not the JSON; only a version-pinned path (e.g. `@mdn/browser-compat-data@8.1.4/data.json`) returns the data directly, byte-identical on both CDNs [obj_01M45MJV9PK86D2T061KB4KK9S].

## Firefox release/version data

- `product-details.mozilla.org/1.0/firefox_versions.json` exposes six separate channel fields (Nightly, DevEdition, ESR, ESR115, ESR_NEXT, plus release dates) and no field is simply named "latest" [obj_01M45XS8MB5M9QR7WVX85PC0Z9].
- `firefox_history_major_releases.json` is a flat object (not an array) of 161 entries keyed by version-number strings mapped to release-date strings, covering only major releases — point releases like 156.0.1 are absent even though they shipped [obj_01M45XSACA4253XACYDVB1PARM].

## Common Voice dataset API

- Mozilla Common Voice's `/api/v1/languages` is fully public and keyless, but `/api/v1/stats`, per-locale stats, and the dataset download bucket all answer a byte-identical HTTP 401 `{"message":"no user"}` [obj_01M45VM0CFA4K5NCYS9T2Z8FZ7].

## Standards positions and CA root-trust data

- Mozilla's standards-positions dataset is one static 491 KB JSON file (served from GitHub Pages, not an app backend) keyed by 920 non-contiguous numeric IDs; 402 of those 920 entries record `position: null` as a real, meaningful "not yet reviewed" value rather than a gap [obj_01M45RVFNWQ8WZGXXB35S395R2].
- Mozilla's own CCADB report (`ccadb.my.salesforce-sites.com/mozilla/IncludedCACertificateReportPEMCSV`) is a keyless, on-demand 37-field CSV listing 172 currently-included root CA certificates with audit and constraint metadata, current snapshot only, no history; every response sets cookies even though no session state gates the next request [obj_01M45YQD2P8CGYCJDWDYC0348Z].

## Disagreements and open questions

- "The Mozilla root store" is not one stable number across Mozilla's own official distributions: CCADB's report lists 172 currently-included CAs, while curl's `cacert.pem` — generated from the same underlying Mozilla `certdata.txt` — ships only 121, because curl's extraction keeps only certs with an active trust bit while CCADB lists every CA the program tracks regardless of trust-bit state [obj_01M45YRHKC9G553Q976JSYFP6A] vs [obj_01M45YQD2P8CGYCJDWDYC0348Z].
- Cross-reading `firefox_versions.json` and `firefox_history_major_releases.json` for "most recent release" can disagree by the width of a point-release cycle, since the major-releases file omits point releases that the versions file's `LAST_RELEASE_DATE` reflects [obj_01M45XSACA4253XACYDVB1PARM] vs [obj_01M45XS8MB5M9QR7WVX85PC0Z9].

## Possibly stale

None recorded as of 2026-10-22. Records range from 2026-09-30 to 2026-10-05, all inside the last 30 days, and none carry a stale or not-useful reuse signal.

Originals stay readable; this digest is a summary, not a replacement.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
