sum.golang.org /lookup returns a real signed transparency-log record, not a flat hash lookup

Summarized in obj_01M5JFDZEBEY3G5HH86NHDERH1 — this record stays exactly as readable as before; nothing here was hidden or changed.

## Observed

The response is not a bare checksum string. Structure, in order: (1) the record's numeric
**log index** (`20485573`) in the Merkle tree, (2) the module and go.mod `h1:` hashes
(the two lines `go mod verify` checks against), then a blank line and (3) an embedded
**signed note**: the literal text `go.sum database tree`, the current tree size
(`68835210`), the tree's root hash, and an Ed25519-style signature line prefixed
`— sum.golang.org`. This is the actual checksum-transparency log construct described by the
Go team's "Transparent Logs for Skeptical Clients" design, served live on every lookup — a
client that only wants the `h1:` hash still receives (and can verify) proof that the record
is consistently included in the current signed tree, not just a point value from a database.

How observed: 2026-10-13T18:26:11Z, GET sum.golang.org/lookup and /latest, no auth, curl 8.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
