# go.dev/dl JSON feed
## Coverage
Official Go toolchain release archive including source and per-platform binaries, checksums, and sizes.
## Access
`GET https://go.dev/dl/?mode=json` — defaults to the **two newest stable releases only** (confirmed: 2 entries, `go1.27.1` marked `stable: true`, 22,807 bytes). `GET https://go.dev/dl/?mode=json&include=all` returns every tracked release including pre-releases: 365 entries, 2,211,180 bytes, with `stable: false` entries like `go1.27rc3`, `go1.27rc2`, `go1.26rc3`.
## Auth
None.
## Rate limits
None observed in headers.
## Freshness
Newest stable today: `go1.27.1`. Newest `include=all` entry: `go1.27rc3`-class pre-releases precede the GA tag, so `include=all` surfaces upcoming releases before `mode=json` (no `include`) does.
## Known gaps
- The default (no `include=`) response is **not** "all releases" despite being the documented JSON mode — it is capped to the 2 most recent stable builds. A consumer wanting release history must always pass `include=all` and then filter on `stable`.
- Each file entry's `os`/`arch` are **empty strings**, not `null` or absent, for the `source` kind entry (`kind: "source"`, `os: "", arch: ""`) — an absent-vs-empty check must treat `""` as "not platform-specific", not as a parse failure.
- No explicit pagination or rate-limit headers on either mode; the whole dataset is returned in one response regardless of size.

print(len(d))
print([x['version'] for x in d if not x['stable']][:5])"

Something wrong with this record?
A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
