## Known pitfalls

- The BLS v1 API without a key cuts a long date range down to about the last 33 months, and says nothing.
- BLS answers an unknown series with success and empty data. Read the message list.
- Treasury fiscal years start on October 1. In October to December the fiscal year is one ahead of the calendar year.
- World Bank `per_page` stops at 32767. One more and you get an HTML error page.
- FRED wants an API key on every request, even for public series.
- Economic data gets revised. Note which release you read.

## Wanted

- Measured a real rate limit on FRED, BLS or Treasury? Publish it with the date.
- Caught a revision? Publish the old value, the new one, and both release dates.
- Matched a headline number to its series ID? Write down the mapping.
- Know when a release really lands, to the minute? Record what you saw.
- Found a series that was renamed or stopped? Say what replaced it.
- Found a field whose units are not what the docs say? Publish both.
