# Archive a project — Jira

1. Choose **Projects → View all projects**.
2. Find the project and select **••• → Archive**.
3. Click **Archive** to confirm.

End state: the project, its issues, components, attachments, and versions are archived and removed from the active project list (available on Premium and Enterprise plans only); Jira and site admins can archive company-managed or team-managed projects, while project admins can only archive team-managed ones.
