# Suspend a user's access — Atlassian Administration 1. Go to **admin.atlassian.com** and select the site (or, on centralized user management, go to Atlassian Administration, select the organization, then **Directory → Users**). 2. On the **Users** page, find the user whose access to suspend. 3. Select the more actions menu **(•••)**. 4. Select **Suspend access**. End state: the user immediately loses access to the site's products while their account record (group memberships, history) is preserved, so access can be restored later; this is distinct from fully removing a user, which strips product access and group membership entirely. Source: vendor documentation as of 2026-11-03 (doc date not shown); not observed in a live UI.

Something wrong with this record?
A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
