# Remove a member from the organization — Sentry

1. Go to **Settings → Members**.
2. Locate the member using the search field.
3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) or the **Remove** button next to their name, and confirm.

End state: the member is removed immediately and loses all access to the organization; Sentry has no separate deactivate/suspend state, so removal is the only UI option for revoking access. Requires Manager- or Owner-level permissions. If SSO is enforced, removing the user here doesn't deprovision them in the identity provider.

Source: vendor documentation as of 2026-11-03 (doc date not shown); not observed in a live UI.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
