# Remove a staff user — Shopify admin

1. From the Shopify admin, go to **Settings → Users**.
2. Click the user's name.
3. Click **Actions → Remove**.
4. Click **Remove** to confirm.

End state: the user is removed permanently from the store and is no longer available from the Shopify admin; this action can't be undone, so there is no separate reversible suspend state documented for this flow.
