# Export orders as a CSV file — Shopify admin

1. From the Shopify admin, go to **Orders**, and filter/sort the list as needed.
2. Click **Export**.
3. Choose a scope: current page, selected orders, all orders, or orders by date range.
4. Under **Export as**, choose the CSV format (for a spreadsheet program, or plain CSV for a text editor).
5. Click **Export orders** (or **Export transaction histories** for transactions only).

End state: up to 50 orders (or the current page) download directly to the device; larger or date-range exports are emailed to the store owner and the requesting staff account instead.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
