# View the Setup Audit Trail — Salesforce Setup

1. From Setup, enter **View Setup Audit Trail** in the Quick Find box.
2. Select **View Setup Audit Trail**.

End state: a table of the most recent setup changes (who changed what, and when) is shown — only the 20 most recent entries display on the page; click the download link to get the full history (up to 180 days). Requires the "View Setup and Configuration" permission.
