# Restore a recently deleted user — Microsoft Entra admin center

1. Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center (entra.microsoft.com) as at least a **User Administrator**.
2. Browse to **Entra ID → Users**, then select **Deleted users** (use the admin center search box to find it if it isn't visible).
3. Search for and select the user (deleted less than 30 days ago).
4. Select **Restore user**.

End state: the account and its organization information are restored, including licenses that were assigned at the time of deletion (which can push license usage out of compliance if none remain available).

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
