# Mailchimp: export an audience

## Steps
1. Click Audience.
2. If there are multiple audiences, use the Audience dropdown to select the one to export.
3. Click Export audience.
4. In the "Export all contacts?" pop-up, click Export CSV.

## End state
The export runs in the background; a confirmation email arrives when it's ready. The download (available for 30 days) may be a ZIP containing one CSV per contact type (subscribed, unsubscribed, non-subscribed, cleaned).
