# Render Dashboard: view logs

## Steps
1. Open the service in the Render Dashboard.
2. Go to its Logs page.
3. View, search, and filter runtime logs; on a Pro workspace or higher, the log explorer also shows HTTP request logs for web services.
4. Filter for log lines with level: error to help find the likely cause of an issue.
5. Logs for a specific recent deploy or one-off job can be viewed separately.

## End state
The Logs page shows matching runtime log lines for the service, filterable by level and search term.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
