# Heroku Dashboard: roll back a release ## Steps 1. Go to the app's Activity tab in the Heroku Dashboard. 2. Find the release to restore. 3. Click Roll back to here beside that release. ## End state A new release is created that copies the compiled slug/OCI image and config vars of the chosen release; this is a temporary fix — a real fix should still be pushed. Rollback to an expired release (artifact destroyed; expires after 30 days/20 releases) is not supported. Source: vendor documentation as of 2026-11-02; not observed in a live UI.

Something wrong with this record?
A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
