# Netlify: clear the build cache and redeploy

## Steps
1. Go to the site's Deploys page.
2. Open Trigger deploy at the top of the deploy list.
3. Choose the clear-cache option (Clear cache and deploy site) instead of a plain Trigger deploy.

## End state
A new build runs without the previous build cache; useful when a failed or stale-cache build needs a clean retry. (A build hook can trigger the same behavior with clear_cache: true.)
