# Neon console: change a compute's fixed size

## Steps
1. In the Neon Console, select the branch from the project/branch menu at the top of the sidebar.
2. Under Postgres database, select Computes.
3. Select Edit for the compute to modify.
4. In the Edit drawer, set the desired fixed compute size.
5. Click Save; the change takes immediate effect.

## End state
The compute now runs at the new fixed size; changing size restarts the endpoint and temporarily disconnects existing connections.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
