# Neon console: revoke a personal API key

## Steps
1. In the Neon Console, go to Account settings → API keys.
2. Find the key to remove.
3. Click Revoke next to it.

## End state
The key is revoked immediately and permanently; subsequent API requests using it fail with 401 Unauthorized.
