# Firebase console: roll back a Remote Config version

## Steps
1. In the Firebase console, go to DevOps & Engagement → Remote Config → Change history.
2. Find the version eligible for rollback and open its options button (top right of that row).
3. Choose to roll back to that version; confirm, understanding the rolled-back values take effect immediately for all apps and users.

## End state
A new version number is created that is a copy of the chosen earlier version's content (e.g. rolling back from v10 to v6 creates v11 with v6's parameters); the original v6 remains stored in history.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
