# Firebase console: roll back a Hosting release

## Steps
1. In the Firebase console, go to Hosting & Serverless → Hosting.
2. In the Release history table for the site, find the previous release to restore.
3. Hover over that release entry and click the overflow menu (more_vert).
4. Select Roll back.

## End state
A new release is created serving the same content as the selected previous release; both releases show the same version in Release history.
