# Auth0 Dashboard: block or unblock a user

## Steps
1. Go to Dashboard → User Management → Users.
2. Select the user's name (or use the "..." menu next to their row).
3. On the Details tab, locate Block user.
4. Select Block to block the user, or Unblock to remove an existing block.

## End state
The user's blocked attribute is set (or cleared); a blocked user cannot authenticate until unblocked. Tenant-administrator blocks do not expire automatically.
