# Okta Admin Console: reset a user's MFA

## Steps
1. In the Admin Console, go to Directory → People.
2. Click the user whose MFA you want to reset.
3. Click More Actions → Reset Multifactor.
4. Select the factors to reset, then click Reset Selected Factors or Reset All.
5. Confirm at the prompt by clicking Reset. This action can't be undone.

## End state
The user's enrollment in the reset factor(s) is canceled; they must re-enroll those factors on next sign-in.
