# Vercel: resume a paused project

## Steps
1. Go to the team's dashboard and select the project (it shows a paused icon in the team switcher).
2. Open **Settings** in the sidebar.
3. On the **General** page, find the **Pause Project** section and select the **Resume Project** button.

## End state
The production deployment resumes serving traffic within a few minutes; no redeploy is needed. (Resume Project can also be selected from the banner on the Settings page or the project overview page, and takes effect immediately without confirmation.)
