On the dashboard, select the correct team from the team switcher, then select the project you want to pause.\n2. Open **Settings** in the sidebar.\n3. On the **General** page, find the **Pause Project** section (above Delete Project) and select the **Pause Project** button.\n4. In the dialog, review the effects of pausing, type the project name to confirm, then select **Pause Project**.\n\n## End state\nThe project's production deployment stops serving traffic; visitors see a 503 DEPLOYMENT_PAUSED error until it is resumed.
