# Vercel: undo a rollback (restore auto-promotion)

## Steps
1. On your project's overview page, click the **Undo Rollback** button on the production deployment tile (it appears while the project is in a rolled-back state).
2. In the dialog, select the deployment you'd like to promote.
3. Click **Confirm** to promote the selected deployment.

## End state
The selected deployment is promoted to production and auto-assignment of production domains is re-enabled, so new pushes to the production branch go live automatically again.
