From your desktop, click **Admin** in the sidebar.\n2. Select **Workspace settings** from the menu, then click **People**.\n3. Click the three-dots icon next to the member you'd like to deactivate.\n4. Select **Deactivate account**.\n\n## End state\nThe member is removed from all channels, signed out of the workspace on all devices, and unable to sign back in. Their messages and files are not deleted.
