From your desktop, open the channel you'd like to delete.\n2. Click the channel name in the conversation header.\n3. Click **Settings**, then **Delete channel**.\n4. Select **Delete this channel**.\n5. Check the box next to **Yes, permanently delete the channel**, then click **Delete Channel**.\n\n## End state\nThe channel and its message history are permanently removed from the workspace.
