# Discord Developer Portal: add an OAuth2 redirect URL

## Steps
1. Open the developer dashboard and select your app.
2. Click OAuth2 in the left sidebar, then the General tab.
3. Under Redirects, click Add Redirect.
4. Paste the full callback URL your app uses (for example https://your-host/discord-oauth-callback).
5. Save Changes.

This is a prerequisite for any OAuth2 authorization-code flow (including linked roles, which also uses the General Information tab's separate "Linked Roles Verification Url" field for its own callback).

## End state
The redirect URL appears in the app's OAuth2 → General → Redirects list and can now be passed as redirect_uri in the OAuth2 authorize request; Discord rejects authorize requests whose redirect_uri isn't registered here.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
