# Airtable: download a base table as CSV

## Steps
1. Open your Airtable home screen.
2. Open the base with the table you want to download.
3. Click the ˅ icon next to the view's name (the CSV download option lives at the view level, not the base level).
4. Click Download CSV.

Any filters present in the open view may exclude records that don't match the filter conditions; remove filters first if you want a CSV of every record in the table. If an Enterprise admin has restricted CSV downloads via data settings in the admin panel, the option won't appear.

## End state
A CSV file of the view's visible records is saved locally (check the Downloads/Recents folder).

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
