# Zendesk: set business hours / schedules

## Steps
1. In Admin Center, click **Objects and rules** in the sidebar, then select **Business rules > Schedules**.
2. Click **Add schedule** to create a new one, or click an existing schedule to modify it.
3. On the schedule page, enter a **Schedule name** and choose a **Time zone**.
4. In the **Weekly schedule** section, keep or modify the preset hours: drag a time block to move it, drag its top or bottom edge to resize it, click the X on a day to close it, or click a closed day to add hours.

## End state
The schedule's business hours apply account-wide once set, and can be used in triggers, automations, views, and reports. Suite Growth/Professional and Support Professional plans allow only one schedule; Enterprise plans allow multiple.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
