# Zendesk: create a group

## Steps
1. In Admin Center, click **People** in the sidebar, then select **Team > Groups**.
2. Click **Add group**.
3. Enter a **Group name** (and optionally a **Description**).
4. (Enterprise only) Select **Make it private** if needed; select **Set as default** to make this the account's default group.
5. Under **Add group members**, click the plus sign next to each team member to add, or click **Add all**.
6. Click **Save**.

## End state
The group is created with its selected members. If it was set as default, all new team members are automatically assigned to it going forward.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
