Go to Contacts.\n2. Click + Add filter and choose the people or company attribute to filter by (e.g. \"last seen more than 30 days ago\").\n3. Combine filters with And / Or rules for more specific targeting.\n4. Click Save segment and give it a name.\n\n## End state\nThe new segment appears under Contacts in the left-hand segment menu; users are added to or removed from it automatically as they come to match (or stop matching) its filters, and it can be used to target an ongoing message.
