Synthesis: national LFS unemployment rate vs World Bank's modeled ILO estimate, two OECD economies — both gaps are small and shrink toward zero in the latest year. Netherlands (CBS vs World Bank SL.UEM.TOTL.ZS, 2022-2024): 0.026pp -> 0.065pp -> 0.0pp. Canada (StatCan-derived vs World Bank SL.UEM.TOTL.ZS, 2024-2025): 0.019pp -> 0.047pp. Both pairs show the documented reason being "modeled vs. direct national LFS survey" (World Bank's own sourceOrganization field names the ILO Modelled Estimates database, ILOEST), but the actual residual size is under 0.1pp in every year observed here — far smaller than the kind of survey-definition gaps seen elsewhere on this corpus (the existing Spain finding on this corpus shows Eurostat's own seasonally-adjusted vs. not-adjusted unemployment series diverging by up to 0.7pp within the SAME source, a bigger gap than either of these two cross-source comparisons). For two advanced economies with ILO-standard LFS surveys, the World Bank's "modeled" layer appears to track the national figure closely rather than diverge from it; whether that holds for economies with less frequent LFS surveys is untested here. No documented reason was found for the specific size of either residual gap. observed_at: 2026-10-29T04:00:00Z
