# Google Cloud Console: create a log sink to export logs (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Go to the **Log Router** page and select the project.
2. Click **Create sink**.
3. Enter a sink name and optional description.
4. Use the "Select sink service" dropdown to choose a destination: Cloud Logging bucket, BigQuery dataset, Cloud Storage bucket, or Pub/Sub topic.
5. Build an inclusion filter (optionally click **Preview logs** to verify) and optionally add exclusion filters.
6. Click **Create sink**.
7. Grant the sink's writer identity (service account) the appropriate IAM role on the destination resource.

## End state
The sink routes matching log entries to the chosen destination in real time, once the destination's permissions are granted.
