# Google Cloud Console: open Logs Explorer and view logs for a resource (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Go to the **Logs Explorer** page.
2. Select your project, folder, or organization from the resource selector.
3. In the Query pane toolbar, click the resource scope menu ("Project logs" / "log view" / "log scope") to pick which resources to search.
4. Use the time-range selector to set the desired time period.
5. Optionally add filters by resource type, severity, or log name.
6. Click **Run query**.

## End state
The Query results pane lists matching log entries, with a Timeline showing their distribution over time and a Fields pane for further filtering.
