# AWS Console: view AWS Trusted Advisor recommendations (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Sign in to the Trusted Advisor console at console.aws.amazon.com/trustedadvisor/home.
2. On the "Trusted Advisor Recommendations" page, review the summary for each check category (Action recommended / Investigation recommended / Checks with excluded items).
3. Under "Checks summary", choose a category such as **Security** to view its results.
4. Choose a check name to expand its description, affected resources, and recommended action.

## End state
You see the current status and affected resources for each check; checks needing action are highlighted red, those needing investigation yellow.
