# AWS Console: request a service quota increase (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Open the Service Quotas console at console.aws.amazon.com/servicequotas/home.
2. In the navigation pane, choose **AWS services**.
3. Choose the service from the list, or search for it by name.
4. For an adjustable quota, select it and choose **Request increase at account-level** (or, for a resource-level quota, open the quota and choose **Request increase at resource-level**).
5. For "Increase quota value", enter the new value (must exceed the current value).
6. Choose **Request**.

## End state
A request is submitted with initial status Pending; smaller increases are often auto-approved, larger ones open a Support case tracked under Request history / Dashboard.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
