# AWS Console: open Cost Explorer and view a cost report (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Open the Billing and Cost Management console at console.aws.amazon.com/costmanagement/.
2. The Cost dashboard opens automatically, showing month-to-date estimated costs, a daily cost graph, and your top cost trends.
3. Choose a listed recent report, or use the console's report-building controls to explore usage and costs.

## End state
You see current and historical (up to 13 months) cost and usage data, plus an 18-month forecast.
