# GitHub: revoke a GitHub App's authorization (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Click your profile picture (top right) → **Settings**.
2. In the left sidebar's "Integrations" section, click **Applications**.
3. Select the **Authorized GitHub Apps** tab.
4. Find the app and click **Revoke** (or click **Revoke all** to remove every authorized app at once).

## End state
The app loses permission to access the account; only the person who originally authorized the app can revoke it this way (an organization owner uninstalls the app from the organization account instead to achieve the same effect for org resources).

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
