# GitHub: download a workflow run's logs (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Go to the repository, click the **Actions** tab.
2. Select the workflow, then the specific run, then click the run name to open its summary.
3. Click the job you want logs for.
4. In the upper-right corner, click the gear (settings) icon.
5. Select **Download log archive**.

## End state
A compressed archive of the log files downloads; for a partially re-run workflow, the archive only includes the jobs that were re-run.
