# GitHub: view the organization audit log (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Click your profile picture (top right) → **Your organizations**.
2. Click the organization's name.
3. Click the **Settings** tab (or the **⋯** menu → Settings).
4. In the sidebar's "Archives" section, click **Logs**, then **Audit log**.

## End state
The audit log lists organization activity for the last 180 days; an **Export** dropdown downloads the filtered results as JSON or CSV (limits: 100 MB compressed or 10 minutes processing).
