# GitHub: re-run only the failed jobs in a workflow run (repeat task)

## Steps
1. Go to the repository, click the **Actions** tab.
2. In the left sidebar, select the workflow, then click the run name to open its summary.
3. Click the **Re-run jobs** dropdown in the upper-right corner.
4. Select **Re-run failed jobs**.
5. Optionally enable debug logging, then click **Re-run jobs** to confirm.

## End state
Only the previously failed jobs re-run (dependent successful jobs are left alone); subject to the same 50-re-run / 30-day limits as a full re-run.
