# Google Play Console: set up a Closed testing track

## Steps
1. Open the app, then Test and release → Testing → Closed testing.
2. Click Manage track (or Create track for an additional closed track).
3. Open the Testers tab.
4. Choose an access method: Email or Google Groups, then select or create the user list.
5. Provide a feedback channel.
6. Copy the shareable opt-in link.
7. Click Save changes.

## End state
Testers on the configured list can opt in via the link; Pause track stops distributing to a track without deleting its configuration.
