# App Store Connect: configure App Privacy details

## Steps
1. Open the app and select App Privacy in the sidebar.
2. Click Get Started.
3. Answer whether the app collects data ("No, we do not collect data from this app" / "Yes, we collect data from this app"), then Save (Back/Cancel also available).
4. If collecting data, select the data categories collected, then Save.
5. Click into each data type via Edit to answer its specific questions, then Save.
6. Optionally click Edit next to Privacy Policy to add the Privacy Policy URL (and optional User Privacy Choices URL / Apple TV privacy text for tvOS), then Save.
7. Click Publish (top right) and confirm in the dialog.

## End state
The published privacy labels appear on the app's App Store product page; a value entered in this questionnaire can be edited again later by repeating the Edit → Save → Publish steps.
