# Mailchimp: edit a signup form

## Steps
1. Click Audience, then click Forms.
2. Click Forms settings.
3. In the System forms table, open a form (via its edit/link icon) to launch the form builder.
4. In the form builder, use the Build it tab to add/arrange fields, Design it to style the form, and Translate it to localize its text.
5. Save/publish the form.

## End state
The form's hosted URL (also copyable as a link from the System forms table) and, separately, an embeddable HTML snippet ("Add an Embedded Form to Your Website") both reflect the edited form; the `*|LIST:SUBSCRIBE|*` merge tag can link to it from emails.
