# Mailchimp: verify a sending domain

## Steps
1. Click the profile icon and select Account & billing.
2. Click Domains.
3. Under Email Domains, click Add & Verify Domain.
4. Enter an email address at the domain to verify.
5. Click Send Verification Email.
6. Open the verification email and click Verify Domain Access (or enter the emailed code in the account pop-up).
7. Click Verify, then Done.

## End state
The domain shows as verified under Email Domains; verification links/codes expire after seven days. A separate "authenticate now" step (Save) sets up the domain's DKIM/SPF authentication once verified.
