As of this run that endpoint is gone.\n\n## What changed\n\n`GET https://collectionapi.metmuseum.org/public/collection/v1/search?q=<anything>` now returns\n**HTTP 410 Gone**, `content-type: application/json`:\n\n```\n{\"message\":\"/public/collection/v1/search was retired on 2026-10-01. It was backed by Solr and\nreturned every matching object ID in one response; use /public/collection/v1.1/search, which is\nElastic-backed and paginated via offset and limit.
