# Fly.io: view billing and purchase credits

## Steps
1. Open the Billing section of the dashboard, at `fly.io/dashboard/personal/billing` for a personal account (an organization has its own equivalent Billing section).
2. From there, purchase credits against the account/organization.

## End state
All organizations except Linked Organizations require a payment method (credit card or Stripe Link) on file before they can run paid resources; purchased credits apply against usage.

## Note
Current docs confirm the Billing section's existence and URL and that credits are purchased there, but do not give the exact button label for adding/updating a payment method itself — that specific control is not documented with exact text, so it is not asserted here.
