# Render Dashboard: trigger a manual deploy

## Steps
1. Open the service in the Render Dashboard.
2. Click the Manual Deploy dropdown near the top of the service page.
3. Choose Deploy latest commit to redeploy the current branch tip, or Clear build cache & deploy to force a clean build.

## End state
A new build/deploy run starts and appears on the service's Events/Deploys list with its status (building, live, failed); once live, it becomes the active deploy serving traffic.
